How to Create a High Ticket Sales Funnel
Creating a sales funnel is one thing but how do you create one that can earn high-ticket affiliate commissions?
The most basic (and still effective) type of sales funnel is the two-step sales funnel. It is made up of two pages – a squeeze page and a thank you page.
The squeeze page is where you offer some type of free incentive (also known as a lead magnet.) It can be a free ebook, video, email course, etc.
This page also has an opt-in form to collect at minimum an email address. You can also collect a first name and phone number.
After a visitor has submitted their contact information, they are directed to a thank you page. The thank-you page is a great way to promote the affiliate product you’re promoting.
You can have a video of yourself sharing your review of the product or you can have a written review.
I like to place a button on the thank-you page that lets the visitor know they can click it to access the product.
The button then directs the visitor to the affiliate offer. If they buy the product, you earn a commission.
A benefit of this type of sales funnel is that each visitor that submits their contact information on the squeeze page is added to your email database.
They are now part of your email list (as long as they have confirmed their email address) and you have their permission to email them anytime you want.
This type of sales funnel works on autopilot. Your job is to push new leads to this funnel on a daily basis.
Choosing a Niche
The first part of creating a high-ticket sales funnel is to choose a niche. There are all types of niches that you can choose from.
Popular niche options fall under the big three – health, wealth, and relationships. Here are some examples of niches that are under these broader niches:
- Health Niche – keto diet, vegan diet, strength training
- Wealth – personal finance, forex, real estate
- Relationships – life coaching, online dating, parenting
Most niches have a high-ticket product that you can promote as an affiliate. You can either choose a niche you enjoy or a high-ticket product that you really like.
If you choose a product, then you will need to like the niche that the product is in as you will need to create content on a regular basis.
Picking a High-Ticket Offer
A high-ticket offer is an affiliate product that has a commission of around $500 and up. There are many affiliate programs that offer commissions over $1,000.
It all depends on the products. Most high-ticket products are online courses. Many course creators charge anywhere from $1,500 up to $10,000 or more for a training course.
There are physical products that also offer high commissions. For example, there is a private jet service called Villiers Jets that pays out $1,000’s per affiliate referral.
You may have to do some searching for these different high-ticket offers. There are plenty of them out there.
Generating Free Traffic
Your funnel can’t do its job without traffic. You can send both free and paid traffic to your funnel. I recommend starting off with free traffic methods.
Free traffic can come from a blog, social media, or YouTube channel. Many affiliate marketers have great success from TikTok and YouTube.
If you are not comfortable with being in videos, some social media options may not be for you.
You can create faceless videos. However, building trust with your audience is essential to making affiliate sales.
When your audience knows, likes, and trusts you, it leads to more conversions. It was challenging for me to do create videos when I started.
However, it became easier and easier as I made each new video.
